Five Post Oak and Post Oak Central Wash Cars to Benefit FACES

On Friday, June 9th, Crescent employees from Post Oak Central and Five Post Oak Park joined together to host a customer car wash. This creative summer fundraiser benefited A.A. Milne Elementary, their FACES of Change partner school. By the end of the day the car wash crew had washed more than 20 cars and had raised over $240.00 for FACES! The funds will be used for school uniforms and supplies for A.A. Milne students.
The car wash was held in the Five Post Oak parking garage on the sixth floor. After the cars were washed the team moved the cars to the upper floor for drying. Post Oak vendor Sanitors generously donated rags, soaps and buckets, and additional soap and sponges were provided by the buildings.

Customers loved the event and quickly lined up to have their cars washed. Customer response was so overwhelming, that several cars had to be turned away due to lack of time! The team plans on repeating this very successful event in the future.
