FACES of Change Partnership Crescent’s Hughes
Center FACES of Change program received the 2007 Community
Enrichment Award in the Education Category from the Volunteer
Center of Southern Nevada at the 7th Annual Awards
ceremony. Crescent was nominated by Beverly Roberts, principal at
Lewis E. Rowe Elementary School, Hughes Center’s FACES partner
school. Principal Roberts stated in her nomination that, “Crescent
volunteers have participated at every level at the school including
donating coats and mittens, providing school supplies, reading to
students, donating books to the library, funding assemblies, field
trips and contributing hundreds of volunteer hours. Crescent’s
impact on the community of Rowe Elementary School has been
overwhelming to the staff and students, giving them pride as well as
appreciation.” |

Austin FACES of Change Partnerships Crescent’s FACES
of Change program was honored with the Texas Association of Partners
in Education’s Gold Award in the category of Texas Medium Corporate
Partnership. The award, given to individuals and organizations who
are leaders in innovative partnerships with schools, was presented
during a reception on January 30. The Austin FACES facilitators
accepted the award on behalf of the Austin FACES partnerships. |

Houston FACES of Change Partnerships The ChildBuilders Award is given annually in the categories of individual and company. Crescent received the company award for their work in Houston through FACES of Change on behalf of children. Jane Page, managing director, asset management, accepted the award on Crescent’s behalf during a luncheon on February 13.

Myer Volunteer Service Award is presented to an individual or
group whose program or volunteer effort has had a positive
effect on students in several HISD schools. Jane Page, managing
director, asset management, accepted the award for Crescent at
the annual VIPS breakfast on April 25. |

Partnership
The Golden
Achievement Award provides recognition for business and
community partners, large and small, and thanks each for
strengthening educational experiences for students in the Fort
Worth Independent School District. Nancy Ricker, executive
director, Public and Parent Engagement for the FWISD, presented
John Goff and the volunteers with the Golden Achievement Award
at the annual volunteer luncheon for Fort Worth Crescent
volunteers. |

FACES of Change Partnerships The HISD Partners Hall of Fame honors business partners that have made a substantial contribution to the school district over a period of time. Crescent was honored for their FACES of Change partnerships during the past nine years. Jim Wilson, senior vice president, property management, accepted the award on behalf of Crescent and the Houston FACES team.
